Just thought of some more
Love: The drumming on Something Of Nothing In Particular by The Associates. As the title suggests it's basically a filler album track. But the drumming (by John Murphy)is really sharp and rhythmical as all good drumming should be.

Laugh At:
"There are explosive kegs - between my legs
Dear God please help me" by Morrissey
Now I appreciate there's a bit of a play on words with some northerners using the word kegs to mean pants, but even so could there possibly be a more clunky metaphor for jizz filled nads?*

* If you can think of any please let me know so that I can add them to "Cave Duck's Big Book of Clunky Metaphors For Jizz Filled Nads"**

** Still looking for a publisher by the way, so if you know anyone..

He had some magical moments..
"You can pin and mount me like a butterfly" always makes me snigger like a fool.

his best moments are when he shuts up
didn't he cut a gig short last year sometime as well because he had something thrown at him?

that was his finest moment

I strongly suspect that Morrissey is more than a tad tossy, but he has written some decent songs.
One of the things I liked about The Smiths was the contrast. If you take the vocals off Girlfriend In A Coma its quite a jaunty little number.

Oh, he's blatantly a massive wanker.

The Associate were fucking fantastic and that is a great call!

Yes, yes they were. Billy McKenzie was a sad loss.
