I bet you are better than I amalthough last time I played I discovered that if I shut my left eye then I can aim straight.
It has taken me a very very long time to come to this conclusion. I blame it on only playing pool when drunk.

to be fair I did get 3 absolutely fucking brilliant flukes,including one where I hit the ball in one direction, it came off the side at an angle, hit one of my colour which went straight into the hole, then bounced off and knocked another two in the same shot.
But for the rest of the 6 or 7 games, I was woeful.
