Well, for all of you who're fed up with the football,
you needn't worry anymore. England have really outdone themselves this time. I've not seen a more inept excuse for a football team in a long while. They were unconvincing against the US, failed to beat glorified pub side Algeria, did just about enough against Slovenia and are currently getting absolutely railed by the Germans.

They'll be booking their flights home already, I should think.

The sides were almost well matched, it was just that the Kaiser's Head First Team were slightly better than the Queens Arms. Luckily most of them should be retired or in the championship next time.

They weren't well matched at all
England had a period of about twenty minutes where they strung together a few passes and looked a bit dangerous, but the defence was non existent and Rooney clearly isn't as good an international player as his club form would imply.

And Germany were very solid in defense. So yes, I can say the German were that much better. They should have scored two or three times in the first twenty minutes and when we were 2-0 down we were lucky not to be a lot more.

We were worse. They had enough ability to pass around our defence and create, and take advantage of, chances. They had had three shots on goal in the first twenty minutes. We had that many in the entirety of the first half. Germany could get through our defence at will and were given acres of room to do it with.

Pretty pathetic for a team that are comprised of the best players we have.

Yeah
We could have done with some of the ability they showed in the qualifying rounds. It wasn't there. Rampaging arse or not, you only need to have eyes to appreciate that the team that was out there an hour ago was not the team it should have been. They have been abysmal all throughout the competition and only got into the last 16 because their group was comprised of three team that somehow managed to be worse than us, even then we only got through almost by default.
