Your thread's totally turned intothe Eastenders omnibus.
Kwikfit banged a nail into my tyre once. I was annoyed, but not surprised. It did slightly amuse me because they subsequently forgot about it, told me the job was done without charging me for the extra tyre they were obviously intending to. I started going to a different tyre place. Take that, piano playing, Swedish-speaking tyre man!
