I'm a former phd student who left it until I was 26 to pass my driving test. I used to play the Eb Alto Sax at school but had to return it when I moved and give it up. Used to wish I could sing better as I'm self-concious about my very low, bassy voice. I fronted a band for most of this year and we had a few gigs but I wasn't enjoying trying to hit such high notes for my range so left. And I'd love to learn German as well. But I can program in Java (or at least I could 10 years ago, now I primarily use C#).

Holy crap
I did an MSc (a PhD for thick people) I learnt both alto and tenor sax at school and really wish I could sing properly as I love recording my own music. I also harbour ambitions to learn German (bought books and everything but then never read them) but have never learnt to program anything. I'm a fucking awesome driver though.

Did Liverpool to Cambridge yesterday morning in rush hour in 3 hours. But I always knew there was a special, deep bond, some sort of special connection between us al.
