Ok, stupid things wot I done
On sunday my neighbours cat came into my garden and proceeded to lie at my feet, roll on his back and wave his paws in the air. With most cats this means "tickle my tummy plz" but I have learnt from past painful experience that this cat just likes rolling on his back and will shred the hand/arm of anyone foolish enough to try tickle-tums. However (and here comes the stoopid part), I was a bit hungover on sunday and in a momentary lapse of attention gave his tummy-tum a good rub...cue four paws locking onto my arm in a pointy-scratchy death grip from kitty-hell.

I've just checked my arm, yup, more track marks than a clumsy smack addict.

My sister has a ferret and when I look after him I bath him because he smells
I learnt the hard way that ferrets do not like baths and will use anything within range to claw their way out of the bath. He used my arm and then my hair. It was about a month ago and there are still feint marks. I look like a cutter.

Poor you!
There are so many questions to make. Does your sister bath him? How did you get rid of him hanging from your hair? Have you started to use thick oven gloves to bath him? But most important, why a ferret!!??

ferrets are pretty cool
they're quite fun to have, like cats only less maintenance, they don't need to go outside for example, so you can have them in a flat where you shouldn't have a cat.

My sister doesn't bath him because she's got used to the smell whereas Wiggy finds it really offensive so I bath him to make Wiggy less averse to having him in the house.

I just bath him using the showerhead from a distance now so he can't climb up me, he only tries to get away when there's running water on him so I can shampoo him without him ripping my skin up.

I got him out my hair very slowly and carefully, little fucker.

Unfortunately ferrets just smell
Even the animal kingdom family name they belong to Mustelidae refers to the fact that they stink. It's all to do with anal scent glands, but then isn't that always the case...

True, plus he's a boy and boys smell more.
Apparently his scent glands go into overdrive when you bath him so he gets even stinkier a couple of days later, but that's when I give him back so she has to deal with it instead.

haha yeah pretty much
I conditioned him with Herbal Essences as well so he'll really stink her house out.
