I know!It's almost an acceptable tie-up, then POW! Right in the last few seconds. The writers had a six season plan for it.

Six? I think it must've ended with the main character and the now evil girl (it's been a while since I watched it)being killed by the nuclear weapon test that they kept seeing in their visions.
