Hayfever sucks
I've had it since I was 5 but it's started to get better as I have grown older.
You can get eye drops to help with the eyes but I always found they just made mine worse as a kid.
To help relive itchy eyes you can try sitting with some slices of cold cucumber or some cold used teabags on your eyes. This really helped me when my eyes were bad.
Optrex is also quite good for soothing sore itchy eyes.
Most of all, do not rub them, this will only exacerbate the situation.

I know it does
But it's so difficult to stop my hands doing it.

I thought about the cucumber or cold used tea bags (or camomille infusion soaked cotton). I'll give it a try, although I think what works in there is the fact that you have your eyes closed, rather than anything else.

The cold bit is the important bit I think
helps to numb your eyes a bit and relieve the itchying sensation.
It's a horrible allergy I hated summer as a kid.
