I agree with you. No one should be guilted into donating if they don't want to, it's not like you're more of a b3tan if you donate. Donating is nice if you can afford it, but it's not a badge of honour.

I think my original point when I first made it was
that he was being critical of the site functionality and on initial appearances was being critical without donating. I agree with you that you're not more of a B3tan if you donate, but I struggle with the concept of being critical of something you're using for free.
