I like the odd reggae tune (and Dub Side of the Moon is particularly awesome) but if I listened to it for hours I'd become murderous.

I much prefer 60s ska.
The best compilations of Jamaican music by a country mile are the 100% Dynamite ones - they are comprehensive and cover the best of all styles, and include well-known classics alongside more obscure 'expert' cuts.

I'm not a big fan really
Dub Side appeals because they have taken something I already really like, and have done some quite clever and talented musical things with it (turning Money into 4/4 time for instance)
