Best to add a bit of a citric acid when cooking up, that way you _know_ when you've put the stuff in you.
I started doing that as some sort of adversion theorpy, but I started to like it. It's one of those pains that are good ones, make you know you can still feel, a bit like having a scalding bath.

I used Windolene instead, I have this lovely mental image that my blood-pipe system is squeaky clean. It makes me feel superior to other people, with their filthy veins all imperfect and marred.
