that's the funny thing
I just went in there to get a prescription for my standard meds, not for a diagnosis or anything. He asked me to explain why he should be prescribing vast quantities of pain meds to a 'young girl' so I explained the illness/residual pain and he told me to stay strong and he'd pray for me

my whole family is Catholic, and he's a Maltese doctor in an extremely Catholic country.

I did bloody mind that my meds are 'hospital only' in Malta, and there are no alternatives

meds are 'hospital only' here though he did write me a note for the hospital, it's about one and a half hours away on a bus
