What phone did you get Tee-gee-bee ?

(, Mon 2 Aug 2010, 9:20, Reply)
HTC desire,
It is well shiny. I need to gay it up and get a little case though as I am notorious for scratching screens on phones

Just my job situation
It's annoying me. I'm scraping round for funding, and am barely hanging on to my job.

I hate my job too
maybe this thread is an omen we should all start looking for new jobs
(, Mon 2 Aug 2010, 9:47, Reply)
We should all start a company
that would go under in about three months due to all staff pissing about on the internet all day instead of working.

*goes on Dragons' Den*

Niiice, plus a few days ago they did an update to the Android thinggy, up to 2.2 'froyo' or something, should be able to do more stuff on it than what's on the box !
Tip Top Tip for Android Users: Download an application task killer, that way you can close down programs you're not using, thus making things zip along.

I'm not 100% sure I'm going to stick with iPhone when I'm due, I really love WebOS (palm/hp), but not on their current hardware. I like android too. Plus I can keep my current iPhone for development. Plus by then Windows Mobile 7 Series will be out, which looks pretty nifty too.

I've got a Palm Pre
WebOS really is excellent, and the phone is ok I've found, now that I've got used to it. I found out how to customise the Quick Launch bar at the weekend, really pleased with that.

I had my eye on WebOS since it's first anoucements, it's amazing software, and the fact that it's all web-based languages means that I can develop more or less anything in my head on it, within reason.
But the hardware didn't really compete at the time of it coming out, let alone with anything new today. I'm hoping HP change that, and they've got the potential to. Limiting it to 8gb mem cuts it out as a media player, the camera isn't good enough to replace a compact, and their phsyical keyboard design is to small (landscape would have been better).

But I still think the software is some of the best out there, even today.
