I used to write to my parents because we live far away from each other. When my dad was at sea we would write letters back and forth, so I thought I would carry on this tradition. Mum, however, said to me "we have email you know" so I indignantly stopped.

I wrote to my best friend when she was at uni and it was nice to receive the letters
because we'd send things like chocolate bars and pictures and stuff in the envelopes which obviously you can't do with email.

yeah that's what I do with my bestie at the moment.
I usually put butterfly stickers or origami into the envelope just because we used to make things like that for each other in class last year.

I had one set that had multicoloured ink in it so it changed colour as you wrote
but they got all shook up in my bag and went a murky pink colour.

I did have a strawberry one
I had to draw a huge picture of a strawberry on the back of one letter so she could smell it though because obviously you can't smell it on the writing.
