second
the one with the really bad cgi and really bad actors and little or no plot. The third was god awful though as well. Such a shame as the first one was ace.

watched the first one recently?
it's shit. some of the most painful acting and dialogue ever.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 9:59, Reply)
yeah fairly recently
it's fair to say Keanu Reeves is the most wooden actor around bar the Tardis but apart from him it's good. Great concept, first time we got to see bullet time and that spanky 3d slo mo camera shennanigans. All in all a goof 8.5 out of 10 film.

there are some good elements of it
but it's not keanu's acting that is a the problem. It's everything Morpheus says and does. Annoying as shit.

Equilibrium is a far superior film.

I love Equilibrium
I haven't seen any of the Matrix films since I wrote about them in my dissertation. The first one was breath-taking when it came out, and whilst I think the second and third films are 'alright', they're shit, unnecessary sequels.

yeah it is good
apart from that Sheffield based twunt Sean Bean in it. The best thing about that film was the new gun based martial arts. That was pretty much comic book hard on material.

Breakdance 2: Electric Boogaloo is a far superior film.
Mr. fucking Bean is a far superior film.

I'm always a bit confused why people insist on associating them with each other
Aside from stylistically, they're very different films.
