I think that's why the album I mentioned is great
It is proper punk, it doesn't sound like classic punk, punk rock or 'pop punk', it's something else, more raw.

Might not be up your street at all
But I think they're worth a listen.
(The album does mix in some drum 'n' bass style samples, just a 'heads up' in case you hate that sort of thing).

Gibby Haynes from the Butthole Surfers (of whom I have been a huge fan for many years) guests on one track, always a good idea to have Gibby on board.

you might hate them, but their early stuff is raw heavy rock, the newer is a bit more blues-tinged. Got some great stoner lyrics throughout.

I recommend their song The Great Outdoors for a taster.
