Several things.
Music wise I'm currently bumming off the Moulettes, and the Corpse Bride soundtrack which has once again sparked off my fascination with dark, gothic and Victorian clothing, films and literature. That comes and goes regularly.

I'm also still going through my thirties swing phase and all I want to do is visit reclamation yards and antique shops.

If I may be so bold, m'lady
You're looking positively radiant today.

Her skin makes you cry I'm sure.

Good Sir!
I request that you do NOT speak so crassly in front of the lady!

What?

It was a (in my opinion) excellent way of calling him creepy by quoting creep by radiohead.

(, Fri 20 Aug 2010, 14:19, Reply)
I didn't notice
But that is rather clever.
(, Fri 20 Aug 2010, 14:20, Reply)
Yeah a bit to clever to be funny though.
For shame.
(, Fri 20 Aug 2010, 14:21, Reply)
I don't like radiohead.
So it's completely lost on me.
Besides, its not creepy

Why thank you! Your flattery is so very endearing.
You too are looking particularly dashing. Is that a new top hat?
(, Fri 20 Aug 2010, 14:20, Reply)
You honour me, m'lady
And sadly not, 'tis the same hat, but I thought to make it more presentable, in order to not offend when in your presence.

Your Corpse Bride reference has just reminded me, I was singing "This Is Halloween" under my breath on the bus this morning
No idea why, I'm not even a fan of the film...

EDIT: Hang on, aren't the Moulettes the ones whose video appeared on /links a month or so back?
(, Fri 20 Aug 2010, 14:03, Reply)
NO!
Nightmare is nowhere near as good as Corpse Bride, plus its been adopted by fucking emos as like a symbol of how dark they are and shit. Ruined it.

Yerrr, their album came out on Monday, I fucking love it.
(, Fri 20 Aug 2010, 14:08, Reply)
I've not seen Corpse Bride
One thing I will say about Nightmare is that the soundtrack is brilliant. But I do agree with you, I hate the Emo twats too!

Sweet, might give them another listen tonight.

Corpse Bride is well worth a watch.
I'd say Burton's best film.

And if you do check out the moulettes again, Bloodshed in the Woodshed and Cannibal Song are excellent.
(, Fri 20 Aug 2010, 14:14, Reply)
Must admit, I'm not usually a fan of Burton
But I really enjoyed Sweeney Todd, so I shall take you up on that advice!
(, Fri 20 Aug 2010, 14:26, Reply)
Thanks a lot
it's in my head now, too.

My favourite track from NBC is "What's this?"
Happiest track ever.
(, Fri 20 Aug 2010, 14:28, Reply)
The stranger thing is that I was singing the Manson version from when it was re-released.
This one
