Well
I might have passed it as my advice, rather than telling her that the whole of the internet knew about her issues, but yes, in a way, she did.

I usually clap and shout at everything. I'm now glad you didn't come to watch the world cup with us.

In an environment that you watched it in, it'd be fine
In a busy pub, heaving with fans, it'd be fine.

But in a quiet pub, with only about 30 people watching the match? Not good.

I assumed you were at the match
clapping in the pub for anything short of a goal should be punishable by death (see also: applauding in the cinema)

I also applauded the triple save by Joe Hart, as that was irritatingly brilliant
But apart from that, I definitely agree.

He also stood for 30 odd seconds applauding a subsititution, then applauding the other players when they ran on.

a good display of skill can deserve it
but he sounds like a fucking moron frankly.

My thoughts exactly

Yeah, I agree with you (V)
I thought you (AA) had gone to the stadium. If it's a quiet pub I wouldn't clap all the time. Maybe only at the goals.

I've never been to see a Premier League game :-(
