When I was with my ex, I looked into buying a place here, that was part ownershipThey said I'd have to be registered on the council housing list, even though I didn't want a council flat. I tried to apply, and they said I earned too much, but I only just earned enough for the banks to lend me the mortgage required for the part ownership. Catch 22.
