I thought it was just a place for stag do wrong'uns but it's ace. I'm off for a walk along the coast in a bit. Any pubs to recommend?

I don't really frequent that area
as it's a pig to get to from where I am unless you're driving, even though it's not actually that far.

Some of the more traditional pubs on Tynemouth Front Street are quite nice from recollection, but I couldn't give you any names I'm afraid. Was in The Priory* a few weeks back to see a mate's band and it seemed OK, if not the ideal venue for live music.

*as in the pub on the main street, not the actual Priory.
