half an hour isn't too bad.The solicitor is right, it isn't good enough, but there's no point in shouting at the woman. Her line manager should have a word and check she's ok with the workload and that she's managing ok. Forgetting something like that means she was likely too busy with something else, perhaps she needs help managing her workload.
