Has that private clamping law actually been passed to stop cowboy clampers or is it just in talks? If it hasn't been passed then you could make some money. Or write "cars left here will have CDCs carved into them".

It's tempting
but I bend over backwards to stay on good terms with my neighbours, because once neighbours fall out that's generally it for ever.

So I continue to knock on the door and politely ask them to move their car whenever I need to get out.

I live up a cul-de-sac
if I park elsewhere I take someone elses space which just adds to the problem.
