agree with thathad a sony, looked cool but slow, the software was very buggy and all in all a poor copy of an ipod
which was a pity as the sound was pretty damn good

It got soaked in my pocked when I was cauught in a monsoon but after I let it dry for a couple of hours worked again no problems

The problems I heard about wereSluggish software (after a few months it would take ages just to boot up) and lousy battery life (decayed after a few months' use). Of course, if yours hasn't encountered these then perhaps said relative was just unlucky.

actually, that's a pointmine did survive a 70mph bike crash and being soaked in oil for 24 hours
that might explain the buggy software/general slowness of navigation...
