Would you go so far as to visit a tapas bar in your area and purchase some?

The only one close to me
Is a La Tasca, and that's a 30-40min drive away. Stratford is shit.

La Tasca is shit
Don't bother.

And those potatoes are typical from the Canary Islands, you won't find them in normal tapas bars.

I remember having Patatas Arragudas (SP)?
In the Canaries. Is that the name of them?

I presume that's the one at Brindley place in brum
there's a far, far better one in my village, about 10 mins drive from the centre. I don't think it does green mojo though I'm afraid.

*smashes something in green-mojo-denied rage*

La Tasca is all microwaved shit

(, Tue 14 Sep 2010, 14:52, Reply)
Yes, it is
All of my friends worked there as a "chef" (he was the only Spanish one) and all what he did was to microwave things from the freezer.
(, Tue 14 Sep 2010, 14:53, Reply)
Never been before
Definitely not going now.
(, Tue 14 Sep 2010, 14:54, Reply)
yeah, friend of mine quit her job there recently

(, Tue 14 Sep 2010, 14:54, Reply)
Mark's parents invited me there as a treat once
I didn't know how not to look dissapointed.

If you're ever in Manchester, try El Rincón de Rafa; good prices and fantastic, fantastic real Spanish food. www.restaurant-guide.com/el-rincon-de-rafa.htm

You can have the set menu for £14 or £16 wit paella (min 10 people, I think) and you eat a lot.

if I ever end up in Manchester (unlikely)
then I will do so :-)
