It's no Rekorderlig
But it certainly does the job.

Is that the Swedish cider? Haven't seen it for sale in many places.

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:26, Reply)
I'm sure I've bought it on trains in the past.

The apple one was ok when I tried it at a gig but the strawberry flavoured one just seemed wrong

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:29, Reply)
This is one of the problems I've got with Aspells.
They keep lobbing extra fruit in their ciders.

If that trend continues, kids will go back to drinking bottles of K* cider and lashing a shot of Archers in it.

*Remembers when K and Diamond White were available in pubs and people drank 'em by the dozen.
(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:32, Reply)
I remember this - K used to be in a matt black bottle & tended to be teenage fighting juice

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:33, Reply)
Strange how these drinks come in and out of fashion.
I remember the days of K and diamond white, after that, the next big things were Caffreys and then those alcoholic lemonades (fuck knows what they were called though) 2-dogs maybe?
(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:36, Reply)
2 dogs was one. Hooch was the really popular one I think.

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:39, Reply)
Hooch, That was it.
What happened to them, eh? Used to be a pub best seller, but where is it these days?
(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:41, Reply)
This will tell you more. I think some of the reason was political pressure re teenage alcohol consumption

What happened to Reef?

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:50, Reply)
I think you can still get it - not exactly my tipple so I don't keep any eye out for it
Damn this Stowford is slipping down too well
(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:53, Reply)
I don't think I've ever tried it.
Thinking about it, I don't know if pubs still sell Bacardi Breezers either?

The ex-wife was mad for that particular type of tart-fuel.

Glad the Stowford is going down well. But with only 3 pints left, you need to start planning on what you'll move onto after its gone.
(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:56, Reply)
I may open a bottle of Rioja later to wash down the cold roast beef I will be dining on, but switching on to red is always a mistake on a school night

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:58, Reply)
Do it.
You know it makes sense.
(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 21:02, Reply)
It will probably happen

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 21:05, Reply)
Good decision.

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 21:06, Reply)
I have wimped out & stayed on the cider.
I have to be the complete professional at work tomorrow y'know
(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 21:40, Reply)
Lightweight.

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 21:41, Reply)
I will hold my hands up to that

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 21:46, Reply)
Never mind.

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 21:47, Reply)
Bacardi Breezers
will forever be associated with the bride I saw, in her white wedding dress cut to reveal her tattoos, who was screaming at her children and new husband calling them 'cunts' while she swigged alternately from the orange and red ones
(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 21:07, Reply)
But did your Mum enjoy her big day?
(expects a virtual slap)
(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 21:09, Reply)
haha!
I'd just typed 'and I was tugging on mum's dress begging her to stop'

Great minds and all that
(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 21:11, Reply)
I blame education.
