Not unusual.
When I was at school it was amazing the number of kids who lived in telly-free houses.

Depends on how middleclass the school was
The more middleclass the more people didn't have a TV. Vast majority still did though

Such (seems) to be the reliance on parents using CBeebies as a baby sitter.

If you discount the one in SJ's room that is purely for games and is not tuned in to anything as it's not connected to an arial.
