i'm also going to steal this moment to say that on the positive side i passed the my first year of my masters... hoorah. on the negative side, the piece that i spent some time on and thought was pretty good (for me anyway) got an ok 2:1. the piece that i literally researched and wrote in one day and was convinced i'd failed? got a first. where is the motivation to spend any time whatsoever on this year's shit?! tutors know nothing.
