Pizza & film with the family tonight.
Tomorrow, going to the footballing "CLASH OF THE TITANS" that is Hull City vs Coventry City (and if if I choose to spit at Coventry's Marlon "Sex Offender" King then I shall be gobbing a knob)
And then it's straight across to sunny Huddersfield to see one of my favourite bands of the late 80s - Martin Stephenson & The Daintees who are playing in a cafe bar in a church crypt.
Sunday, 80th birthday meal followed by a 1st birthday party.

So are you 80 or 1?

No no. It's the 80th birthday meal I 've been to, but the first ever birthday party. Strange eh?

I don't really like David Mitchell
but that's a fantastic bit

Same here
But I like his football rant and the BBC News pisstake; "Do you have an opinion? If you do, email us your opinion, text your opinion, why not write in with your opinion...do you 'reckon' something? Call in and tell us what you reckon"

Oh. I had no idea what you were on about and wondered if you'd meant to reply to a different post.
It's a good job I didn't mention it as I'd look really stupid now.

I loved his mini-rant on Mock the Week about footballers being paid a hell of a lot for doing something that doesn't really matter
and Dara O'Brien pointed out that he probably shouldn't start a witch hunt on people who get paid a lot of money for doing not very much when they were on a panel show.

I think he's superb, but actually less good at sketches than ranting.

(, Fri 1 Oct 2010, 14:51, Reply)
I liked the sketch where he killed everyone for using bad grammar
