If you ever watch Some Like It Hot on a bank holiday and the phone rings, don't answer it. I did and it was to tell me that my Dad had died.
Now if it's on and the phone rings, I automatically say "Bloody hell who's died now?" before answering.

Your Dad will thank me for this advice.

My ex was cheating on me whilst I was at home cutting myself (accidentally I should add!) on some glass that he put in the bin
and when I rung him to come and take me to the hospital he left the other woman in my flat. I feel your pain.
