I'd take a macro of my bumhole and fill all the windows with it.

however, if you start in the middle struggling like a bastard, it's reasonable to expect to go across, or up, rather than down. plus, when you're on a certain wage amnd you have things like rent, bills, travel, and a girl to think about, it's no small thing to take a massive hit in your wage.

more power to the student taking a shit wage. i'm not saying i don't have the experience for his job. i'm saying i don't currently have the experience, even really for mine, the one i do now. and to get a job like that again, i need more to rely on than blind luck, this one i got headhunted by the MD while working in a shitty job, and kinda came in, hit the ground running, and worked my bollocks off. that's all well and good, it means i ain't getting fired for SHIT here, they are pleased with me, however, this doesn't count for SHIT on paper, if they've got a dude with a nice folio and five years experience, versus a dude with a nice folio and one and a bit years experience, guess who's getting the interview? i'd like to have confidence to go for the bigger jobs, but i'm also realistic, and with the number of cv's flooding in, they filter by experience and qualifications before they even look at your work. sad but true, as anyone who's looking right now, or has seen an ad posted on gumtree get 400 odd views in it's first day.

It's a shitty thing to happen, expecting something that doesn't come through, but look at it like this; it's only one day different from what you were expecting anyway, and it'll just be for a year or soo while you build yourself up; which when you consider it's a life-plan (moving in with someone you're gonna marry), it's not the end of the world.
I know what you mean about having bills that you need to be sorted with but there are two incomes and you should be cool with that; people in the area survive with worst.
