Are you saying my cupcakes aren't luscious?
What would you call it?

so it doesn't matter what I think.
But, if you want me to be serious, don't make it too overly "saccharin and cutesy" unless it's obviously self-deprecating. What matters is what they taste and look like.

I wanted to go with Lemonentry My Dear Watson but it's probably only me that is amused by that.

Think about how you are selling them? cheesy joke names may get you first-time custom (but in this I still think you'll put off as many people as you attract) but my suspicion is people will tire of repeatedly having to say "Oh, I'll have 3 of the Lemonentry my dear Dr Watson and three of the Rainbow Worrier please"
Of course, this is less of a problem if you are selling exclusively online, but I think that's a dangerous market for a product sold on taste and real-world appearance

I wouldn't go for anything too silly because a lot of people probably wouldn't get it, or as you said, would find it annoying.
I was just going to go for simple ones like Apple Pie and Strawberry Cheesecake so people don't have to try and guess what's going to be in them.
