What are your career hopes, post study?

law
keeping options open. Then brother with business, sister with medicine, other sister wants to work with horses, and the rest are quite varied

If law doesn't work out.
Become a mechanic. You've missed that off the list.

if you could do any other job what would it be?

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 22:42, Reply)
film director would be fantastic
I'd love to be that
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 22:48, Reply)
Lampito might now some connections for you?
but you're right that would be a lot of fun. I always fancied being a session drummer.
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 22:51, Reply)
What sort of films would you direct?

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 22:53, Reply)
I'd love to make a decent sci-fi movie
I mean the epitome of the best deal would be making large budget films that you had a lot of control over. Mainstream wise I'm thinking David Fincher
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 22:56, Reply)
I've no idea who he is.
Most films bore me.

I just don't have the attention span to sit down for a couple of hours to watch something.

What would hold my attention, film wise, for 2 hours?
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 22:59, Reply)
Labyrinth with David Bowie

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:02, Reply)
Never seen it.

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:05, Reply)
A tour de force.

It's about cycling?

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:07, Reply)
and goblins and singing

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:11, Reply)
That just sounds fucked up.
*Wishes late night thread to take me away from talking about films I've not seen*
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:13, Reply)
I'm off to bed
I have a lecture at ten. It's fucking draconian.

Kick-Ass

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:04, Reply)
Is that some sort of threat?

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:05, Reply)
He did Panic Room
Fight Club, Red Dragon, Alien 3 etc. All of them very watchable
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:07, Reply)
I've seen none of the films you mention
Which is the best of them?
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:08, Reply)
Fightclub is well worth a watch

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:09, Reply)
Well, when it's next on the telly, I might give it a go.

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:12, Reply)
And the usual suspects is good.

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:15, Reply)
I got told about the end of that film before I saw it.
No point then is there?
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:18, Reply)
Would they be 'Arty'?
You know, "Art" films. Nudge, nudge. Art.
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 22:57, Reply)
Wink, wink,
Say no more, say no more!
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:00, Reply)
You're right
Lampito could give me a start
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 23:11, Reply)
True
Except I'm cackhanded and know little about cars
(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 22:43, Reply)
You sound like most mechanics I've ever employed to work on my car!
