I went to loads of different schools
in one, I was literally the only person who wasn't allowed to sing in the choir. Even the little Japanese girl who couldn't speak English was allowed in. Same with all the Christmas plays and stuff. It was upsetting at the time, because I was always the only one- all of the other kids no matter how bad got a part. Mind you I was pretty shit, but it's always puzzled me why they couldn't just let my voice get lost in a hundred others

It's not really a source of pride
I was the back end of a cow ffs... and the teacher was patronising enough to give me lines...

Why didn't they let you be the front end?
It's okay I'm hardly upset- it was childhood haha. It's just odd looking back that I was so incredibly bad when I come from a relatively musical family, and played myself

Can't remember to be honest, might have had something to do with me hitting puberty a hell of a lot earlier than the rest, but this was y6 so some of them must have gone by then. Must have been about the last time I actually got up to my higher singing voice easily come to think of it (can't do it at all now).

Plus my utter rubbishness at line remembering probably didn't help.
