Put on something boring
and numb your mind so you sleep just to get away from it haha.

I skipped going to the party because I was so tired, but will go out tomorrow to make up for it. Doing some ebay shopping at the moment, and just saw a oat I was on theoutnet.com

yeah, football and drink have reduced Bobby to a welsh spouting drunkard

Sssh! He'll hear you!

i am eating
colin the caterpillar marshmallows on the misguided basis they are fatfree and watching "men behaving badly". so far it's not working but i'm trying!

my friend from my masters course is at a sub-fusc ball in oxford tonight, do you go to that sort of thing?
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:01, Reply)
I too
Have 'men behaving badly' on the telly box. Are the Colin the Caterpiller 'mallows from M&S?

M&S do some nice sweets.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:04, Reply)
yeah
the vanilla/strawberry/chocolate ones.

when i was younger and had short hair, a few people said i looked like a (thinner and younger!) caroline quentin. i HATED it. i look fuck-all like her!!!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:05, Reply)
Quentin was quite pretty in her own way.
A bit 'lunchy' but not unattractive.

I've been told I look like Roger Black by 100's of people.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:07, Reply)
"lunchy" ??
hang on whilst i google him.

oooh. nice and muscly.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:08, Reply)
Err, I was thinking more
4 Sausage rolls from Greggs, and eating then all when I say 'lunchy'. No stranger to the inside of a cake shop.

Apparently my face and mannerisms are very similar. I don't see it myself.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:14, Reply)
so fat then
er, you just called me fat. i can't believe this.

how hurtful. accurate, maybe, but hurtful.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:25, Reply)
I haven't called you fat.
I've never seen you (and the amount of PINK exercise equipment you've got would suggest otherwise anyway).

I was mearly saying that a young Quentin was quite attractive.

You wouldn't even go to Greggs, let alone have 4 sausage rolls.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:28, Reply)
you could say "good morning madame swipe"
and i could still hear "areet muffin-top". so you can't win.

the punchy boxy tube is chocolate brown leather. so that is the definitive gym colour now, sadly!

true, very true. i spend enough of my working life fighting with greggs, as it happens!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:33, Reply)
What the hell is a 'muffin-top'?
I've never heard the phrase before.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:39, Reply)
google it!
a picture speaks a thousand words.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:43, Reply)
Dear oh dear.
I don't love,
The muffin top,
The muffin top,
The muffin top,
....................
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:48, Reply)
it's not a great look
admittedly. why those girls feel they can get away with tops like that.... if you're top heavy, skinny jeans or short skirts and a looser top. if you're bottom heavy, fitted low-cut top and flattering pants. it is NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:50, Reply)
she's probably matriculating
as a graduate student? I occasionally go to balls, will go to my college commemoration one this year actually (white tie and all)

Men behaving badly should put you to sleep haha
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:04, Reply)
hmmm not sure
she moved there from dublin a few months ago because of the course, but i think she's finding it a bit quiet, esp as her bloke is in the army so is away a lot!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:06, Reply)
if she's at Oxford
and this is her first year, then she'll have matriculated today :) and thus all sorts of parties. Which college?
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:10, Reply)
oh i see
no, she's on my masters course, so in the second year. it's part of the department of continuing education, so all done at rewley house. we all got different colleges, but we don't really have anything to do with them, all lectures etc are at rewley!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:12, Reply)
aw you should go to your colleges
the mcr people are really nice (middle common room for graduate students) but yeah you can generally buy tickets for balls, though first priority goes to the college whose throwing it
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:14, Reply)
i know, i really should
but the course is knackering, 8am-11pm usually. i am gutted my second year is already part way through though, i am going to miss it, back to just work work pub pub!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:24, Reply)
Well when I finally get round to organising
this mini bash, I'll let you know and you can break your routine
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:33, Reply)

(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:34, Reply)
I've never properly been to manchester
if you can believe it. Rakky is in Bristol isn't she?
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:35, Reply)

yeah rak moved to bristol about 6 months ago. i miss her, she is AMAZING!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:38, Reply)
Does the fact she is now is Bristol make her ever more amazing?
I'd imagine it would do.

Bristol rocks!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:40, Reply)
no
it makes her 2 hours less amazing. stupid distance!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:44, Reply)
But Bristol is fantastic
Surely coming to visit your mate in Bristol is like going on a short-haul holiday?
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:45, Reply)
maybe!

(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 1:46, Reply)
