it's disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!surely even a wastepaper basket would have been a better solution than MY CARPET, however many sheets of paper you put down first!

I put broken glasses, crockery and bulbs into newspaper before I put it in the bin.I think it can cope with a bit of shit.
