Afternoons
I've just finished all the photos, and now get to eat. You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to lunch.

go on then
what is for lunch?
(, Mon 18 Oct 2010, 13:32, Reply)
After raiding the cupboards
It has turned out to be cheese, ham and onion toasties. It wasn't something in particular I was looking forward to, just the intake of food in the middle of the day for some reason.

What is this POD you speak of?

POD
is a health-food restaurant that opened up near my office a few months ago. sells things like "falafel jaffle" and avocado and sunblush tomato sandwiches. my colleague had meatballs and chicken/chorizo stew.

Well, that seems to trump my lunch
In pretty much every way.
(, Mon 18 Oct 2010, 13:58, Reply)
well you wouldn't have liked mine as much
because it was veggie. i had a mini blackbean and smoked paprika stewpot and a small side salad of cabbage and other healthy things with a few pieces of fusilli pasta. does that help, POD 2?

pretentious lunch is pretentious.
I used to have a tin of tomato soup and a piece of bread.

i've just looked up the calories on their website
health food my arse, i am properly horrified.
(, Mon 18 Oct 2010, 14:07, Reply)
Take that with your fancy food
I'll stick with large amounts of melted cheese and fried crisps.

Using my Sunday name and all...

We have lots of electricity here. We make it from all the lovely water falling down our glens. I even have a televisor, linked up to one of those parabolic microwave antennae, which can receive telecasts from the sky (although not Sky).

I just don't bother watching it much.
