I'd like to see what it was like
in medieval times, or be a druid or summat. Chances are I'd be a buboe-ridden pleb though. It wasn't so nice back then.

That's why I say Templar
Interesting time and get to see what happened back then.
And the chance to be a knight is cool

Hang on Bobby.
You've ripped this off from a Simpsons episode.

Well no, it's a culmination of reading the Dark Tower again, fallout new vegas coming out
and me buying new cowboy boots.

I'm liking that idea
When you come back from the past tell me what it was like. As long as you don't get riddled with lead which was a bit of an occupational hazard for those coves.

Have you been watching Pillars Of The Earth on Channel 4?

(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 22:04, Reply)
Don't have a tv license
thus, no tv. The book is one of my favourites though, and I was worried they would have fucked up the adaptation horribly. Is it any good?
(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 22:05, Reply)
X2 for good bookage

(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 22:07, Reply)
I haven't read the book (yet). I think it's quite good. you can probably watch it online. First episode is long though - I got through two bottles of wine watching it.

(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 22:10, Reply)

For the sex scenes...
But a good book

Those do look quite nice
Though I'll stick to the library...
(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 22:14, Reply)
Nearest library to us is quite far away, haven't got room in the flat for any more books and ebooks seem to be cheaper too

(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 22:17, Reply)
The selection on Ibooks is fucking embarrassing.
But I don't think I can get others on my iphone without doing some dodgy shit. (Not sucking off a sailor)
(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 22:19, Reply)

(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 22:21, Reply)

Be honest with yourself now.
