Admittedly, it's the centre of a technically only "dormant" volcano.
but if ever there was a time for it to become active again, it would be when the zombies are coming. It's also strategically near a beach so I can wash, and near farmland where there are cows to eat, and crops to steal.

that's true. Also I have a car.
so I can bundle my little kitty in there and keep him safe - I can tootle around and if need be, I can drive really fast to get away from the brain-obssessed undead.
