Mondays are always depressing
Along with Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and of course Sunday. It's hard being so emo and all that.

Not really, today things are good, I'm starting the day listening to System of a Down and rewriting my order status interface. Looking forward to a lecture with David Starkey tomorrow evening. I got completely wrecked on Friday evening and played as right-wing on Saturday, that was rather entertaining :)

Did SOAD do a tune about 'partying'?
If that was them, it has a special place in my heart for having quite simply the most embarrassing lyrics I've ever heard.

'Why don't presidents fight the war?
Why do they always send the poor?'

It's deep and meaningful because IT'S TRUE.

yeah these lyrics are much better
Far away, politicians, glasses of port
meet in a toast to a war they've not fought

They are indeed better.
'Ebbing eyesight in chlorine clouds
stealing away barbed wire shrouds'

Not a bad couplet.

I have to admit that the lyrics in that song were indeed much better
but System's song Soldier Side has quite good lyrics, a little more subtle than the aforementioned.

I think their best work is in the lyrics to Bounce
