I did get an excellent dinner, just from bothering to black tie it up and listen to some pretty interesting people

I'm allergic to fish/shellfish so instead of the tiger prawn salad with parmesan, avocado, salad and sweet chilli sauce, they gave me the same salad with quail eggs instead. Which obviously I can't eat.
The main course was guinea fowl with smoked bacon, on pea risotto with asparagus which was delicious, then dessert was lemon tarte with grapefruit and orange sorbet and raspberry smoothie

two white, two red and then port afterwards. No dessert wine this time sadly

It's far too sweet.
I'd have probably requested a coffee rather than the port too.

I went for both :(
I like dessert wine in small quantities. We always have the same Brown Brothers one here, not the fellows stuff

sorry, not obvious? Quails aren't shellfish, I'm pretty certain.
