and I almost killed the both of them. Instead I got a little angry and shouted and went back to bed.
Today I felt clever and inspired to read more about Charlemagne. If anyone can reccommend me a decent book on him (I'd imagine either Monty or Amberl) I'd be grateful. Of course I'm just sitting in the Maughan, so could just go to the relevant section. But I just can't be arsed.
I also got blanked by the boy I've been wittering on about the last few days. Gut-ted.

On Charlemagne, do you want a popular book, a scholarly book or (my personal favourite) an interesting primary source. Or just read the Song of Roland and pretend it is work
