Did you say to the bed sales-man...
'I'm not sure what to do?'

And did he says, 'I don't want to pressure you into making a decision'

To which you replied, 'I'll make a decision tomorrow, I want to SLEEP ON IT'?

Tell me you did.

I love Ska.
I grew up listening to it.

I also went to Poly at Coventry where a lot of the Ska bands came from.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 21:10, Reply)
I went to see 'em three times last year.
They were good.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 21:11, Reply)
the trouble with ska
at least round these parts, is that almost every amateur band is ska or folk.

ska done very well is good. anything less than a big band doing it very well is fucking terrible.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 21:12, Reply)
Quite agree.
Oddly, one of the best/worst ska experiences I had was seeing The Ordinary Boys at some middle-of-the-road music festival.

I have to say, their brass section was one of the best I've seen. It's just a shame about the songs and the singer.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 21:17, Reply)
I must have a look to see where/ if they are touring this year. Never seen them.

(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 21:14, Reply)
Do it.
They're good, and Terry Hall seems to have learnt to sing in the last 30 years.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 21:17, Reply)
I have also been listening to some Judge Dread. Brilliant.
