Newer new builds have to have a certain amount of soundproofing

Is that certain amount "none"

"Newer" as in that last 10-20 years when building regs were tightened up a lot
Your late 60s piece of crap is the reason why this happened.

I bought my last place off plan. Bog standard Persimmon flat.

As in place before this one?
Or has your new build subsided so much that the walls are now wonky?

place before this one
the new build was off a really impressive quality. Were there for two years and didn't have a single problem which was nice.

My current place
was built in 1983, can't hear a damn thing from either side unless they're really thumping up the stairs.
