There's one just released which seems like it might be OK - Let Me InI still won't watch it, because it's being advertised as a horror, when the original wasn't even slightly.

I've never seen the original, although I noticed you mentioned it up there ^and it was mentioned in an article about Hollywood re-makes, although the article named The Ring as a successful one, which I find hard to agree with.
