They switch off the heating during the weekend
and start it again on Monday morning; but it takes ages to start heating. Last Monday, when I left at 4pm, we had just reached 17degC.

Thanks!

Bastards, Get them to get a time clock.
Then leave, to your new job.

That's my plan
The second bit, really. In fact, I'm hoping next Monday is freezing Monday too, so I get sick and don't have to come to work on Thursday before taking the plane to Madrid

16 degrees will feel rather cold to a sedentary office worker.

Pfft!
My office is stifling in the summer and freezing in the winter. Not to mention the dirt, metal crap everywhere and my boss farts in the office.

Really?
Between 13 and 16degC? That's just plain silly.

That would be fine
if you were on the move all the time, but sitting in an office you really need it to be about 21°C.

It says 17 in that page
13 if you are moving, 17 if you aren't. That's stupid. I could barely move my fingers to type.
