Two permanent catsTwo peripatetic dogs. They're owned jointly between me and my sister and live in either of our houses (a mile apart) depending on who is going to be walking them.
They are satisfied with this arrangement.

NoMost days are Christmas for dogs.
The only days that aren't have fireworks in them. Mr Brown hates fireworks.

that's a great way to have themi'd love a dog, but when you work/party the hours i do, it's impossible. this would work for me.
