I am exactly the same - I won't watch scary films unless I have a pillow or preferably someone else to cower behind. I am a girl though...

of 28 days/weeks later, one of the Alien films or a bit of Kubrick, if it's horror you can more or less guarantee I won't have seen it.

I ruined The Exorcist for myself
I watched it too young, so I missed all of the underlying horror, and just laughed at the girl with the weird voice.
