I had two bank accounts for exactly that reason while i was saving for this trip.I had my online one, and my savings one. the online one was great because it wasn't linked to my card so I couldn't withdraw from my trip savings unless i transferred money.

I've started my Australia holiday fundthere's £85 in it at the moment. Won't even get me on the plane but I'm still quite proud of it.
