I put a red onion and some courgette in the magimix until fairly finely chopped
softened that in a pan with some olive oil. Added some coarsely chopped mushrooms, some veg stock, some white wine, some smoothly blended chopped tomatoes, a reasonable quantity of hot smoked paprika, and some tomato puree.

Simmered for a while then added the meatballs (without browning first because they were pretty small), cooked that for about 20 minutes to reduce.

Then I decided that the sauce wasn't quite right so sampled a bit with a variety of herbs before discovering that sage goes really well with smoked paprika.

Just wash the minced beef out of my pint glass when you're done, please.

I'm 90% sure that's not minced beef.

I'm 90% sure he has a 3' straw that his carer carries around.
Otherwise he'd die of thirst.

I thought he was strictly vegetarian for some reason.
He's even gayer than Ken 'Hom' Hom, which is an achievement few can lay claim to.

massively gay
but I inherited the full collection of his works. It basically tells you how to cook everything and do it properly.
