I'm on call for wildlife rescue
Until 2am
Its too bloody cold out there for any wildlife so im twiddling my thumbs for the next 50 minutes

At home
If anyone rings with an emergency I have a couple of numbers to pass on, or if they want to bring anything to me i call the rescue centre and they will come and pick an animal up.
Its pretty quiet at the moment

TBH
At this time of year nothing usually much happens.
As an insomniac I usually volunteer for the 12-2pm shift and feel somewhat guilty if I have to call in a casualty.
Normally its badgers, they dont have very good eyesight so tend to get hit by cars a lot :(
And they are scary buggers to try to transport, all teeth and claws and rampant rage, i bare the scars
